I had such a wonderful stay. The building is beautiful, designed in Vietnamese-style. Everyone was so friendly and attentive. I felt welcome. The remote location was refreshing after a long bike ride up the coast and around the cape, and I was able to store my bicycle inside. The traditional Japanese breakfast and dinner were truly remarkable. And the chef was able to accommodate my vegan diet. I was impressed with the presentation as much as the flavor. Just be sure to place your request the day before, because each meal is made to order. You can choose your dining time during check-in. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a small balcony and a lived-in, rustic charm that I loved. Notable details include: ornate wooden doors and accents, as well as wooden floors. There are vending machines stocked with beer, tea, snacks, and cup noodles. The laundry machines are free of charge. It was a terrific getaway and a much-needed chance to rest and recover. I highly recommend it!

Location is really nice. The hotel is situated in the middle of the national park, BUT: it is right in front of the road. At first, this made us completely disappointed, cause the pictures suggested it was in the middle of nowhere. But the road was barely used at night, making the place quiet enough. When I say quiet, I am referring to the sounds of civillization, because birds cry 24/7 as others mentioned in their reviews. Rooms (and we stayed in the most simple twin room) are quite nice with wooden floors and kind of antique'ish furniture. Note that the beds are not too long, probably about 185-190cm, which may be a problem for the taller visitors. Staff was helpful and guided us to the place with the local birds at dawn, lending a flashlight.

This place is perfect for any birdwatcher aiming at seeing the Okinawa endemics and who want to treat themselves with comfort. The Hotel location is quite remote, meaning that you can see Okinawa Rails sleeping opposite to the hotel, Okinawa Woodpeckers and Flying Fox feeding at the hotel’s entrance! This also means that for those without a car like myself, it can be difficult (but not impossible) to reach. You’ll get delicious Asian breakfast, and booking dinner was also a good idea because there are no restaurants in walking distance. The staff are very helpful and kind, making very worthwhile the experience. 10/10 recommend it.

It's an old style hotel located close to the Yanbaru national park in leafy surrounds, a secluded atmosphere, far from the maddening crowds. The nearest scenic attraction is Cape Hedo the most northerly point of the island. Staff were good, the rooms were okay, but no room service, labeled bins are outside in the corridors for you to dispose of any rubbish, dinners had to be preordered, one choice, breakfast Japanese style only was tasty. There are vending machines on the ground floor where the laundry is situated which has beer, and non alcoholic drinks as well as a variety of chips, biscuits etc.

Hotel was excellent. Lovely staff, large room, comfy bed. Location was perfect for exploring the Yanbaru area. Nice area with forest and wildlife (on our 6am walks we saw a Kuina just across the road and lots of newts). Free washing machines, detergent and dryers were extremely handy. Food was really delicious, highly recommended pre booking meals. We are pescetarian and they obligingly accommodated us with a vegetable and tofu hotpot. Our (very fussy) children loved the hamburger meal. Breakfast was a Japanese set and we found it generous in quantity.
